COVID Act Now

CovidActNow.org is a tool to help leaders and communities understand how the COVID-19 pandemic will affect regions across the country. We are here to try to save lives and we recognize it will take every citizen acting together to beat this.

COVID Act Now was created by a team of data scientists, engineers, and designers in partnership with epidemiologists, public health officials, and political leaders to help understand how the COVID-19 pandemic will affect regions across the country. This tool is built to enable political leaders to quickly make decisions in their Coronavirus response, informed by best available data and modeling. Talus Analytics and our collaborators at the Georgetown University Center for Global Health Science and Security worked closely with the COVID Act Now modeling team early in the event to develop and launch the core SEIR model and corresponding code base. The model is available publicly here and can be accessed through a public GitHub repository.
