COVID-Local is a collaborative effort focused on providing guidance to state and local decision makers responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Guide provides a set of progress indicators and a series of checklists for leaders to assess their progress and to serve as a source of information about what additional efforts may be needed. A series of graphics and corresponding tools are available to provide metrics toward re-opening, supporting the decisions needed to understand local progress toward mitigating and managing the outbreak in a community.

The metrics are designed specifically to support communication of that progress, in addition to providing benchmarks for progress through each phase. The site also provides access to a frequently-updated blog and resources page, with access to experts across a wide range of topics related to the pandemic and response efforts required.
