Talus Analytics is hiring a UI/UX Design Intern – an analytical, creative problem-solver to apply their skills to make beautiful UIs that translate complex data into clear and actionable take-aways. Design at Talus requires close collaboration with the research, data, and development teams, and an interest in going beyond just building to really understand the problems we’re tackling. As a design intern you will have the opportunity to use data to develop visualizations and interfaces tailored to specific user needs and research objectives.
This position is based in Boulder, CO.
Key Skills and Position Requirements
• Progress toward a degree or certificate in a design-related field
• Ability to brainstorm and communicate ideas for visual systems (visualizations and interfaces)
• Some experience and a strong interest in visualizing complex data
• Design experience with Adobe Creative Suite (specifically illustrator) to create prototypes and communicate data visualization concepts
• Curiosity for working in a range of fields, both independently and as part of a team
• U.S. Citizen
